AI agents throw a wrench in that. Now, you hand over a goal instead of a click (dispute a charge, plan a vacation, build a weekly meal plan) and the AI agent handles the busywork, giving you something… probably right. But not always. When the outputs are unpredictable, how do we design experiences people will trust? In this session, we dig into how AI agents work and practical approaches for designing trustworthy interfaces on top of them. As we go, we’ll start to see: the machines worth trusting always have a human hiding inside, and the closer design gets to the thing we care about most—delight, the more irreplaceable that human becomes. This is a hopeful talk, pulling apart the black box of AI to show why the future is more human than the headlines suggest.
