How can hands-on creation open up new ways of thinking about sustainability?

In this workshop, you work with secondhand materials to contribute to a collective animated illustration. You’ll step away from your screen, make with your hands and explore the more thoughtful approaches you can bring to your creative process—finding inspiration in how individual actions come together to create something impactful.

Participants will:

  • Engage in a tactile, hands-on creative process using secondhand materials
  • Contribute to a collaborative animated artwork while creating an individual piece
  • Explore alternative approaches to starting design off-screen
  • Reflect on how reused and sustainable materials can be integrated into your own creative practice
