Ah yes. Here we go again. Two full days of conference mingling. Name tags. Small talk. Awkwardly hovering near the coffee station, pretending to check your phone.

Surely there has to be a better use of your time than all this… talking?” Sound familiar? If the thought of networking makes you want to suddenly become disproportionately interested in the building signage or that piece of fluff on your pants, this workshop is for you! Here’s the uncomfortable truth: your creative skills alone won’t do all  talking for you. Yes, your work matters, but so does your ability to connect, communicate and show up beyond the pixels and portfolios.

This isn’t just a conference about keeping up with trends. It’s a rare room filled with people who get what you do at every level of experience. This 40-minute experiential workshop will get you out of your head and into action. And, this isn’t another sit-back-and-take-notes session. You’ll observe, experiment and learn practical ways to create meaningful connections with your peers in a low-stakes environment, without resorting to painfully rehearsed elevator pitches or aggressively hovering near the snack table.
