DesignThinkers 2000 was the first annual conference
organized by RGD Ontario. It took place Friday, October
13, 2000 at the Hart House, University of Toronto, in
downtown Toronto. The conference was attended by over
280 delegates from as far away as Victoria, B.C. and
Halifax, N.S. The full-day event featured six speakers
who addressed the emerging importance of branding in
a glut market, strategic new media design, new business
models for creative enterprises, image recognition in
a digital culture, and story telling in business.
