Lukova reflects on work
past and present
Luba Lukova is an artist and designer working in New
York. She has won numerous awards, including: Grand
Prix Savignac /World's Most Memorable Poster at the
International Poster Salon, Paris; Honor Laureate at
the International Poster Exhibition, Fort Collins, Colorado;
Golden Pencil Award at the One Club Show, New York;
and the ICOGRADA Excellence Award at the International
Poster Festival, Chaumont, France. Her distinctive graphic
art has been published in the New York Times, Washington
Post, Wall Street Journal and Le Monde, among many others.
Her posters are widely exhibited and are in the permanent
collections of the Museum of Modern Art (New York),
The Library of Congress (Washington, DC), Museum für
Gestaltung (Zurich), and the Bibliothèque Nationale
de France (Paris).
