Gail Anderson is a senior art director at SpotCo,
a design and ad agency specializing in work for Broadway
and Off-Broadway productions. From 1987 to 2002 she
was Senior Art Director at Rolling Stone. Her work has
received awards from the Society of Publication Designers,
the Type Directors Club, AIGA, Graphis, Communication
Arts and Print. She is co-author, with
Steven Heller, of Graphic Wit, The Savage Mirror,
American Typeplay and Astounding Photoshop
Effects. Gail teaches in the School of Visual Arts'
MFA program.
