Territory of the Senses
The business of design can lead you into unfamiliar territory. Gael’s journey has taken her from book design, to magazine art direction, to overseeing commercials, to product design and development. Along the way, the business of design even led her to the altar, with her collaborator/husband Stephen Doyle. Recently, Gael’s path revealed an interesting turn: she was named editor-in-chief of Martha Stewart Living. Gael will discuss her 18 years of creating, nurturing and shaping this expansive brand dedicated to the senses and Stephen will join her, to cajole, as well as to talk about packaging the products and packaging the brand itself. Icons will be ruffled, recipes shared. |
