Dan Saffer has worked in interactive media since 1995.
Currently, he is an interaction designer at the strategic
design firm Adaptive
Path and is the author of the book Designing
for Interaction: Creating Smart Applications and
Clever Devices (New Riders, 2006) which AIGA executive
director Richard Grefe said should "fast become
a standard reference in the process of design thinking
for purposeful interactions." He has designed a
wide range of products and services, from web sites
to mobile devices to robot navigation systems, for clients
ranging from Fortune 500 companies to start-ups. He
holds a Master of Design in Interaction Design from
Carnegie Mellon University.
